This morning two Real Madrid fans are taking legal action against club president Florentino Pérez. The lawsuit stems from this season’s Copa del Rey disqualification, in which the team fielded an ineligible player.

Raúl Giménez Guillem and Susana Castaño Caba are claiming moral damages because they believe they were morally and financially affected by the cup expulsion. Because of the club’s failings, they have allegedly “had to endure being taunted in cafes and our place of work, which has led to bouts of anguish and helplessness.” 

The claimants are reportedly seeking compensation of €500.
